Task Dashboard
A task management dashboard built with Angular 21, featuring a Kanban board, task forms, search, filters, and charts.
Overview
Built as a frontend technical assignment, the application lets users manage tasks and view their progress. Tasks can be created, edited, deleted, and moved between status columns using drag and drop.
I built the complete frontend from the supplied Figma design and adapted it for mobile, including the components, forms, state management, mock API integration, and unit tests.
Key Features
- Kanban board with drag-and-drop status updates
- Task creation and editing with form validation
- Search by title and description
- Filters for status, priority, and assignee
- Charts showing task distribution by status and priority
- Responsive desktop and mobile layouts
- Loading, error, and empty states
Technical Details
The application uses Angular Signals to manage task state and derive filtered views. Task status and completion dates follow the same logic whether a task is updated through the edit form or moved on the board.
Feature pages are lazy-loaded, and reusable components handle task cards, columns, and dashboard elements.
Demo Note
The application uses a mock backend. Task data may reset when the backend is redeployed.
